All lanes of northbound Interstate 635 will close at Oates Drive from 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, as part of the $1.7 billion 635 East project to widen and improve I-635 and areas near the freeway's interchange with Interstate 30.

I-635 will close in both directions at Skillman Street at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, and reopen at noon Sunday, Aug. 14. Both directions of Skillman will also be closed.

Various lanes of I-635 between Central Expressway and I-30 and lanes of I-30 near the I-635 interchange are closed overnights through Monday, Aug. 15, as part of the ongoing construction.
